We are glad to see that the Pembroke Dock project has been delivered by being transformed into a world-class centre for wind, wave and tidal power projects following a £60m upgrade.

Hardisty Jones provided an Economic Benefits Statement and Socio-economics ES chapter in support of the port redevelopment, alongside a Socio-economics ES chapter for the related Marine Energy Test Area (META). The statement was prepared on behalf of the Milford Haven Port Authority and was prepared in support of an outline planning application seeking permission for an infrastructure project, including a mixed-use office and industrial employment development within the Gate 4 area of the Port. The subsequent Socio-economic ES Chapter set out the potential impacts of the META project on socio-economics and tourism, supporting the necessary marine license and planning applications.

We have worked on this project in its early stages, and it is great to see the works are now complete. We are eager to see the increasingly important role Pembroke Port can play in the development of in the Celtic Sea over the coming years.
