It’s been a landmark few months for offshore wind, with several major projects reaching consent – and we’re proud to have played our small part in that success. Together, Berwick Bank, Mona, and Morgan Offshore Wind Farms represent over 7 GW of renewable energy capacity.

Hardisty Jones prepared the socioeconomic inputs for each scheme, helping to assess how clean energy developments of this scale impact communities and regional and national economies.

✅ Berwick Bank Wind Farm (SSE Renewables) – 4.1 GW, Scottish waters. Onshore grid connection granted consent in December 2024. Offshore application consented by Scottish Government in July 2025.

✅ Mona Offshore Wind Farm (JERA Nex bp, EnBW) – ~1.5 GW, Welsh waters. DCO granted by the Secretary of State for Energy Security and Net Zero in July 2025.

✅ Morgan (Generation) Offshore Wind Farm (JERA Nex bp, EnBW) – ~1.5 GW, English waters. DCO granted by the Secretary of State for Energy Security and Net Zero in August 2025.

Many thanks to SSE Renewables, JERA Nex bp, and EnBW Energie Baden-Württemberg AG for the opportunity to contribute to these nationally significant projects.
