We are pleased to see the Government commit to build the Sizewell C nuclear power station today. Even with significant growth in renewables, a low carbon baseload of energy is needed. We played a very small role in this project, demonstrating the local economic impacts of SZC, both positive and negative, and showing how the positives can be enhanced and the negatives minimised. We have since taken this experience and applied it to other nuclear power stations, offshore wind, solar, energy from waste, and carbon capture projects.
